A few weeks ago I entered a giveaway for a $25 gift card to Kroger. I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to check out Kroger if I won, seeing how I had never been to Kroger…well, I WON!
Last week I decided to use my card to stock up on boneless, skinless chicken that was on sale, and I hate to say it but I was not impressed at all. The store had a terrible smell, the employees were not very friendly or helpful and it seemed that all the people shopping there, that night were just weird. Maybe it was that one store, time of day (it was at night) or maybe I’m just spoiled to Publix. I will try another Kroger store at least once before I totally write them off but I was very disappointed.

I love shopping at Kroger! They are so coupon friendly. They’ve never questioned any of my coupons. However, the only thing I don’t usually care for is their meats, especially the hamburger meat. It smells and tastes really funny. The other thing is that you have to go when they have a mega sale to really feel the savings. Oh and thanks for calling me weird since I shop there. Ha ha!!
Yes, they were good about the coupons I had and I noticed the chicken had a funny smell, too. I will try it again, just not that particular store. I wasn’t saying that everybody that shops there is weird, just the people that were shopping that night.
